RCB Women’s team secured an eight-wicket win to clinch their first-ever WPL title at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday, March 17. The 2024 season of the Women’s Premier League comes to a close, the Royal Challengers Bangalore women’s team has dominated in both the orange and purple caps. Also, most importantly, they secured the title by beating the Delhi Capitals in a thrilling contest in Delhi.

Ellyse Perry, the famous RCB all-rounder, is at the top of the run-scoring charts. With a steady approach in the final, she managed to take the chase home. And she was unbeaten on 35 runs, bringing her to 347 runs in the tournament. She also scored a magnificent half-century in the eliminator game against the Mumbai Indians and remained the team’s most important player during the big moments.
Perry consolidated the top spot with 347 runs in nine innings, while Meg Lanning remained second with 331 runs from nine matches. Shafali Verma (309) moved up from seventh to third place. Smriti Mandhana (299) advanced from fifth to fourth place. Deepti Sharma (295) moved from third to fifth place. Beth Mooney (285) came down from the fourth to the sixth slot. Harmanpreer Kaur (268) moved from sixth to seventh place. Richa Ghosh (257), Jemimah Rodrigues (235), and Alice Capsey (230) remained ranked eighth, ninth, and tenth, respectively.

Radha Yadav (10) dropped from fourth to seventh place at 18.7. Tanuja Kanwar (10), Nat Sciver Brunt (10), and Deepti Sharma (10) dropped two spots each to finish eighth, ninth, and tenth, at 20.7, 21.5, and 21.7, respectively.
