Champions League Quarter Final:
Arsenal has managed to win only three out of the 12 matches they played against the Bavarians, whereas Bayern Munich has a total of 7 wins against the Gunners. Atletico and Dortmund both have a record of 2 wins against each other. It’s all square between Barca and PSG. Both have the same number of wins, draws, and losses (4). City have a 4-3 win record over Real Madrid as of now.
As both Manchester City and Arsenal are positioned on the same side of the draw, we are expecting an exciting prospect of witnessing an all-English semi-final clash. Arsenal fans may recall the last such encounter, which occurred way back in 2009. In the first leg, Manchester United took an early lead at Old Trafford with John O’Shea’s goal in the 17th minute of the clash. While, in the reverse counterpart, Man U sealed the deal at the Emirates Stadium, where Cristiano Ronaldo’s spectacular free kick stole the show in a 3-1 victory (4-1 on aggregate).
