The Women’s Premiere League 2024 is all set to begin on 23rd February(Friday) with defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) facing the runners-up Delhi Capitals at the M.Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru. In total, 22 matches will be played in the tournament, on 2 grounds.
The 2nd season will kickstart with a blockbuster clash between MI vs DC and be followed up by the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs UP Warriorz(UPW) at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru the next day. The first 11 matches will be played in the same venue, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. And the second half of the season including the playoffs the action shifts to Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
WPL 2024 Format
There will be no change in the format of the WPL. The teams will finish at the top of the table will play the final directly. The team ranking 2nd and 3rd in the points table will play an eliminator game to qualify for the final match of the tournament.
WPL 2024 timings
All the games of the WPL 2024 will start at 07:30 PM IST. There are no double-headers in the tournament.
